| Greetings from Whistler, BC:
First time I've been at this website, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading Chantal's feelings about motherhood, music, etc. It's great! Today I'm also looking for inspiration as tonight I'm playing on the piano - Time - at my students' piano recital. I purchased the book Greatest Hits by Chantal in the summer, in Winnipeg, and since then I've been playing several of the songs a lot. I feel 'in tune' with playing the music - thank you, Chantal! I too come from a background of learning to play classical music, Royal Conservatory, etc., and now I'm playing 'outside the box', and I feel a lot of comfort in it. I also remember a year ago meeting Chantal at the Chateau Whistler, at her concert. We had a short chat, & the email she sent giving good luck for our piano recital - I shared that with the audience. I look forward to attending more of her concerts! Thank you, Chantal, for the inspiration you've given me! See attached pix from last December.

Chantal and Raine Expecting Again
On her My Space page, Chantal announced she and Raine are expecting their third baby boy. The baby will join big brothers Rowan,4, and Lucca Jon, 2. No word yet on when she is due. Congratulations!

Chantal Won't Work with Avril Again
"The All I Can Do singer tells Performing Songwriter magazine that she had written a song for Avril called Contagious. When Avril's latest, The Best Damned Thing, came out in April, it had a song called Contagious on it. Coincidence? Chantal says no." Read more.

Concert Review
The Calgary Sun gave Chantal's concert in Calgary on Valentine's Day a lukewarm review.

I thought the concert was very good. Tony and I were fortunate to have fourth row centre seats. Raine Maida's opening set was forgettable and a bit of a downer for Valentine's Day (except for Yellow Brick Road) but I really enjoyed Chantal's performance. I have seen her at the Jubilee many times and I thought her voice and the overall sound was exceptional compared with other times. I especially enjoyed Waiting for the Sun since that's my favourite song on the new album. I also really enjoyed how she threw in Until We Die as a surprise for her husband. It was very romantic. I might have a couple of photos to post from my cell phone (but we'll see what the quality is like - might not be great) and I have a set list too.

Tickets for sale to Chantal's show in Calgary
Thanks to a kind contact, I was able to get great seats for Chantal's show in Calgary in February. However, I had already bought two tickets of my own during the pre-sale and now no longer need them. I am not looking to make a profit off of these two tickets, just sell them to a Chantal fan in Calgary who really wants them. They are in the centre, row C on the first balcony. Cost is $115.80. Chantal to perform in Calgary on Valentine's Day
Chantal will perform at the Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary on February 14, 2007 with husband Raine Maida as her opening act. Tickets go on sale this Friday at Ticketmaster.
Other Western Canada dates include:

February 15 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
